Summer is out! Well, almost. We’re still getting the odd random day of sunshine but to be honest, I’m ready for autumn now and all the great things that come wih it. I bought cardigans, jumpers, and wooly dresses last week ready for the seasonal change but it hasn’t happened yet. *cries*
To help draw summer to a close, I thought I’d create my own tag to reminisce on the last few months because I couldn’t find a tag like it anywhere else. Let’s get cracking!
What are your favourite things to do in summer? Did you do any of them this year?
In the summer months I love to travel. Because of the way things have been still, we didn’t travel abroad this year unfortunately. However, we did spend my birthday visiting London and that was lovely. I also enjoy drinks in the sunshine and days on the beach. So yeah, I fulfilled all of my summer traditions!
What sort of clothes have you worn over summer?
I’ve loved wearing dresses because they’re really light and airy. I HATE wearing clothing that sticks to me or makes me feel even more hot. I’ve also really enjoyed wearing loose, floaty trousers and a dainty top, I think that’s a nice comfortable combo.
What has been your favourite thing to do at the beach?
Take a picnic, or get ice cream!
What have your favourite songs been?
Olivia Rodrigo – Good 4 U, David Guetta – BED, Secrets – Regard, 10,000 Hours – Dan & Shay, and EVERYTHING Mamma Mia.
What is your favourite movie you’ve seen?
Black Widow. Uh-mazing.
Favourite restaurant/bar you’ve been to?
For food I’d say Black & Blue in Borough Market, London. For drinks, always Whisky River in Durham.
What has been your favourite activity?
I used to be a really good gym-goer but that’s a thing of the past. Clearly. I’ve enjoyed having our beautiful pup and taking him for days out and long walks.
Where is your perfect summer destination?
Santorini. I adore the place. I can’t wait to be back there next May parasailing, exploring Fira, and drinking ice-cold wine at Santo Winery.
Who have you spent the most time with?
I’ve tried to see as many people as possible since Covid has settled a bit. Life does get in the way a lot but I’ve really tried my best to reach out to old friends and do stuff together!
I’ve spent the most time with Adam, my best friend, and my parents though.
What is your favourite memory of the summer season?
That’s an easy one! Getting my little Milo, of course.
